Flow Velocity
Measures flow velocity by analyzing frequency changes in waves caused by relative motion, reflected off the water surface using the Doppler effect.
Water Level
To measure water level, radar waves are transmitted to the water surface, and the time taken for the reflection to return is converted into distance.
